Sculptural Wire Weaving Course

Explore the possibilities of woven wire. Using variations on traditional wire basketry, participants will learn multiple weaving techniques to make everything from small baskets to large scale installations. Particular attention will be paid to pattern and line quality in 3D work. Possibilities for including found objects and mixed media will be covered.

You work at your own pace in this hybrid recorded/live online course. You’ll have permanent access to all the demo videos to watch as many times as you like. In addition, you can sign up for up to 5 one-hour live group zoom sessions with me to get your technical questions answered and get feedback on your work. The live sessions will include both weekday evening and weekend morning options (Eastern time).

After signing up, I’ll add you to the private YouTube channel to view the demo videos, email you a PDF with the materials list and other info, and you’ll be able to sign up for the live zoom sessions.
