Ebb - 2018

Made shortly after the devastating wildfires in northern California in 2017, this work imagines coastal tidepools in a post-apocalyptic desertified landscape. The once lush, vibrant scene has become skeletal, brittle, and porous. Its ecological precariousness is emphasized by the spindly steel rods that support it, revealing its underbelly to the world.
